Welcome to Brundleisms

Last update: 7 July 2026
Updated to include 2017 Spanish Grand Prix and 2026 British Grand Prix.

Apologies for the heavily overdue update!

This website documents the very best of Martin Brundle’s commentary quotations, and whilst 2017-19 is a work in progress, we will be hoping to have a full list from his stints in the commentary box soon.

This page is a continuation page of the work that was started in 1997 by David Crick and continued in 2002 by Callie Sullivan. Callie ceased updating her website at the end of 2011 following Formula One’s move to Sky Sports and her website was closed down in 2020. This page will attempt to fill in the missing gaps whilst attempting to keep up to date with the new races.

A huge thank you to Callie Sullivan and David Crick, who have allowed me to host quotes between 1997 and 2011.

ARCHIVE RACES (2012-19)

2017: 5/18 (27%) (Martin missed two races that year)
